The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is thrilled to participate in this year’s International AIDS Conference (IAC) in Washington, D.C. The Foundation’s mission involves passionate and committed people around the world – and social media gives us the perfect platform to stay connected with all of them. For the IAC, you can check out all of our social media platforms to get our take on the biggest news from every day of the conference.
The Foundation’s presence on Facebook grows constantly; we add new posts, pictures, videos, links, and updates about our work in the field and our research and advocacy efforts. During IAC, we’ll be sharing quotes, pictures, videos and stories from every part of the conference.
The Foundation uses Twitter to provide instant updates about our mission to eliminate pediatric AIDS around the world. Follow us to see updates from our conference sessions and activities from all over IAC. You can also follow Chip Lyons, the Foundation’s President and CEO. We’ve made it easy with some handy buttons:
We have beautiful photography featuring the people we serve in the countries where we work – and we’re sharing it all on Instagram. Our photos feature mothers, children, and families receiving care in health clinics both urban and remote – and the dedicated nurses and health care workers who are saving lives on the frontlines of HIV/AIDS. Follow us at “EGPAF” and hashtag photos that you would like us to see and use with #EGPAF.
You can also see EGPAF’s photos from the International AIDS Conference on our Facebook album or by visiting our EGPAF@AIDS2012 Flickr page.
